Biological Molecule Tests

When testing an unknown substance two controls may be used for comparison to the unknown. (a - control and a + control). The negative control shows no change when the testing agent is used indicating the absence of a certain molecule. The positive control shows a definitive change indicating the presence of a certain molecule.
