Soft Organ Reticular Tissue

The black reticular fibers (collagen) in the adjacent photo are specially stained to show up. The other lymphatic photos of the node, spleen and thymus are stained to show the numerous cells.

The reticular fibers are very important to give support to the soft organ and to slow the transport of lymphatic cells through the organ so they have time to develop for specifie immunity.
