Lymph Node Capsule Details The collagen on the surface of the capsule is a very light peach color. The node is stained for the many cells it contains and not for the structural reticular fibers.
The nuclei of the very cellular node is shown by the many purple dots.
As the lymph slowly flows through the maze of cells antigens are processed and lymphocytes become activated.
